The racial makeup of the village was 98.1% [[White (U.S. Census)|White]], 0.4% [[African American (U.S. Census)|African American]], 0.4% [[Native American (U.S. Census)|Native American]], 0.1% [[Race (U.S. Census)|Pacific Islander]], 0.1% from [[Race (U.S. Census)|other races]], and 1.0% from two or more races. The racial makeup of the village was 98.44% [[White (U.S. Census)|White]], 0.10% [[Native American (U.S. Census)|Native American]], 0.42% from [[Race (United States Census)|other races]], and 1.04% from two or more races. [[Hispanic (U.S. Census)|Hispanic]] or [[Latino (U.S. Census)|Latino]] of any race were 0.73% of the population.

There were 403 households, out of which 34.5% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 51.6% were [[Marriage|married couples]] living together, 13.4% had a female householder with no husband present, and 31.3% were non-families. 25.6% of all households were made up of individuals, and 8.9% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.39 and the average family size was 2.85.

In the village, the population was spread out, with 25.8% under the age of 18, 8.1% from 18 to 24, 31.0% from 25 to 44, 23.2% from 45 to 64, and 11.9% who were 65 years of age or older. The median income for a household in the village was $42,361, and the median income for a family was $47,596. Males had a median income of $36,333 versus $24,598 for females.
