==Geography==
Martinsville lies along [[Ohio State Route 28|State Route 28]] west of [[New Vienna, Ohio|New Vienna]] and east of [[Midland, Ohio|Midland]].  SR 28 intersects [[Ohio State Route 134|SR 134]] just east of Martinsville, connecting the area to [[Wilmington, Ohio|Wilmington]] a few miles to the north.

The racial makeup of the village was 96.1% [[White (U.S. Census)|White]], 1.3% [[African American (U.S. Census)|African American]], 0.2% [[Asian (U.S. Census)|Asian]], and 2.4% from [[Race (U.S. Census)|other races]]. [[Hispanic (U.S. Census)|Hispanic]] or [[Latino (U.S. Census)|Latino]] of any race were 2.8% of the population.
