==Geography==
Marsing is on the [[Snake River]], which forms the border with [[Canyon County, Idaho|Canyon County]].

==Highways==
[[Idaho State Highway 55|State Highway 55]] connects the city with Canyon County and continues to [[Nampa, Idaho|Nampa]] to the northeast. Two miles (3&nbsp;km) west of Marsing, Highway 55 connects with [[U.S. Route 95 in Idaho|U.S. Route 95]], the primary north–south route for the state and its primary connection to western Nevada and northern California. [[Idaho State Highway 78|State Highway 78]] heads southeast to [[Murphy, Idaho|Murphy]] and [[Grand View, Idaho|Grand View]] within Owyhee County.

The [[population density]] was {{convert|1516.2|PD/sqmi|PD/km2|1}}. There were 403 housing units at an average density of {{convert|592.6|/sqmi|/km2|1}}. The racial makeup of the city was 74.9% [[White (U.S. Census)|White]], 1.6% [[Native American (U.S. Census)|Native American]], 0.4% [[Asian (U.S. Census)|Asian]], 20.6% from [[Race (U.S. Census)|other races]], and 2.6% from two or more races. [[Hispanic (U.S. Census)|Hispanic]] or [[Latino (U.S. Census)|Latino]] of any race were 33.8% of the population.
