==Geography==
Maple Park has the majority of the population in Kane County, but with more area in DeKalb County. [[Illinois Route 38]] runs through the southern side of the village, leading east {{convert|15|mi}} to [[Geneva, Illinois|Geneva]] and west {{convert|8|mi|0}} to [[DeKalb, Illinois|DeKalb]]. It is {{convert|52|mi}} west of [[Chicago Loop|downtown Chicago]].

The racial makeup of the village was 89.46% [[White (U.S. Census)|White]], 0.21% [[African American (U.S. Census)|African American]], 0.70% [[Asian (U.S. Census)|Asian]], 2.37% from [[Race (United States Census)|other races]], and 7.26% from two or more races. [[Hispanic (U.S. Census)|Hispanic]] or [[Latino (U.S. Census)|Latino]] of any race were 7.96% of the population.
