==Geography==
Luray is located on [[US Route 136]] 6.5 miles west of [[Kahoka, Missouri|Kahoka]]. The Clark-[[Scotland County, Missouri|Scotland]] county line is approximately three miles west of the community. The [[population density]] was {{convert|495.0|PD/sqmi|PD/km2|1}}. There were 39 housing units at an average density of {{convert|195.0|/sqmi|/km2|1}}. The racial makeup of the village was 99.0% [[White (U.S. Census)|White]] and 1.0% [[African American (U.S. Census)|African American]].

There were 37 households, of which 37.8% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 54.1% were [[Marriage|married couples]] living together, 5.4% had a male householder with no wife present, and 40.5% were non-families. 35.1% of all households were made up of individuals, and 10.8% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.68 and the average family size was 3.27.

There were 39 households, out of which 30.8% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 51.3% were [[Marriage|married couples]] living together, 12.8% had a female householder with no husband present, and 30.8% were non-families. 25.6% of all households were made up of individuals, and 7.7% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.62, and the average family size was 3.07.

In the village, the population was spread out, with 31.4% under the age of 18, 4.9% from 18 to 24, 32.4% from 25 to 44, 21.6% from 45 to 64, and 9.8% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 34 years. For every 100 females, there were 108.2 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 100.0 males.
