Liverpool is located in eastern Fulton County on the north bank of the [[Illinois River]] at river mile 128. It is {{convert|10|mi|0}} east of [[Lewistown, Illinois|Lewistown]], the Fulton County seat, and {{convert|34|mi}} southwest of [[Peoria, Illinois|Peoria]].

The average household size was 2.52 and the average family size was 2.03.
