As of the [[2020 United States census]], there were 15,781 people, 6,135 households, and 3,940 families residing in the city. The population density was {{convert|1,956.7|PD/sqmi|PD/km2|sp=us|adj=off}}. There were 3,518 housing units at an average density of {{convert|751.8|/sqmi|/km2|sp=us|adj=off}}. Of the 6,135 households 35.4% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 59.5% were married couples living together, 12.2% had a female householder with no husband present, and 24.4% were non-families. 19.7% of households were one person and 4.3% were one person aged 65 or older. The average household size was 2.67 and the average family size was 3.06.

The age distribution was 26.3% under the age of 18, 7.4% from 18 to 24, 31.1% from 25 to 44, 26.1% from 45 to 64, and 9.1% 65 or older. The median age was 36 years. For every 100 females, there were 94.2 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 88.8 males.
