'''Littleport''' is an [[unincorporated area|unincorporated community]] and former city in [[Clayton County, Iowa|Clayton County]], [[Iowa]], United States. After the [[Volga River (Iowa)|Volga River]] flood of May 16, 1999, much of the town was destroyed and most residents moved away. At the 2000 Census, there were 26 residents. The population density was {{convert|78.0|PD/sqmi|PD/km2|sp=us|adj=off}}. There were 14 housing units at an average density of {{convert|42.0|/sqmi|/km2|sp=us|adj=off}}. The racial makeup of the city was 100.00% [[White (U.S. Census)|White]].

There were 13 households, of which 23.1% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 61.5% were [[Marriage|married couples]] living together, 7.7% had a female householder with no husband present, and 30.8% were non-families. 30.8% of all households were made up of individuals, and 15.4% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.  The average household size was 2.00 and the average family size was 2.44.

15.4% of the populace were under the age of 18, 15.4% from 25 to 44, 26.9% from 45 to 64, and 42.3% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 54 years. For every 100 females, there were 85.7 males.  For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 83.3 males.

The [[median household income]] was $23,125, and the median family income was $46,250. Males had a median income of $51,250 versus $13,750 for females. The [[per capita income]] for the city was $16,237. There were no families and 15.8% of the population living below the [[poverty line]], including no under eighteens and 20.0% of those over 64.
