==Geography==
Lewisville is in northwestern Monroe County, in the south-central part of [[Summit Township, Monroe County, Ohio|Summit Township]]. [[Ohio State Route 78]] passes through the village just north of its center, leading east {{convert|7|mi|0}} to [[Woodsfield, Ohio|Woodsfield]], the [[county seat]], and northwest {{convert|10|mi|0}} to [[Summerfield, Ohio|Summerfield]]. [[Ohio State Route 145|State Route 145]] passes through the center of Lewisville, leading northeast {{Convert|7|mi|0}} to [[Miltonsburg, Ohio|Miltonsburg]] and southwest {{convert|8|mi|0}} to [[Stafford, Ohio|Stafford]].

According to the [[U.S. Census Bureau]], Lewisville has a total area of {{convert|0.37|sqmi|sqkm|2}}, all land.<ref name="CenPopGazetteer2024"/> The village sits in a [[saddle (landform)|saddle]] that is the headwaters of Sunfish Creek, which flows east to the [[Ohio River]] at [[Clarington, Ohio|Clarington]]; and of South Fork, which flows northwest to the Seneca Fork of [[Wills Creek (Ohio)|Wills Creek]], a tributary of the [[Muskingum River]].

The [[population density]] was {{convert|475.7|PD/sqmi|PD/km2|1}}. There were 97 housing units at an average density of {{convert|262.2|/sqmi|/km2|1}}. The racial makeup of the village was 98.3% [[White (U.S. Census)|White]], 0.6% [[Asian (U.S. Census)|Asian]], and 1.1% from two or more races. [[Hispanic (U.S. Census)|Hispanic]] or [[Latino (U.S. Census)|Latino]] of any race were 0.6% of the population.

There were 76 households, of which 25.0% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 50.0% were [[Marriage|married couples]] living together, 6.6% had a female householder with no husband present, 6.6% had a male householder with no wife present, and 36.8% were non-families. 31.6% of all households were made up of individuals, and 14.5% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The racial makeup of the village was 99.14% [[White (U.S. Census)|White]], 0.43% [[Asian (U.S. Census)|Asian]], and 0.43% from two or more races.

There were 95 households, out of which 28.4% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 57.9% were [[Marriage|married couples]] living together, 9.5% had a female householder with no husband present, and 31.6% were non-families. 30.5% of all households were made up of individuals, and 21.1% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.32 and the average family size was 2.91.

In the village, the population was spread out, with 23.6% under the age of 18, 6.4% from 18 to 24, 24.5% from 25 to 44, 24.9% from 45 to 64, and 20.6% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 41 years. For every 100 females there were 77.9 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 79.8 males.

The median income for a household in the village was $24,286, and the median income for a family was $31,042. Males had a median income of $33,750 versus $18,036 for females.
