There were 1,627 housing units at an average density of {{convert|1833.1|/mi2|/km2|disp=preunit|units&nbsp;|units|}}. The racial makeup was 97.59% (2,430) [[White (U.S. census)|White]], 1.41% (35) [[Black (U.S. census)|Black or African American]], 0.00% (0) [[Native American (U.S. census)|Native American]], 0.36% (9) [[Asian (U.S. census)|Asian]], 0.00% (0) [[Pacific Islander (U.S. census)|Pacific Islander]], 0.20% (5) from [[Race and ethnicity in the United States census#Race|other races]], and 0.44% (11) from two or more races. The average household size was 1.60 and the average family size was 2.06.
