==Geography==
Leidy Township is in northern Clinton County and is bordered by [[Potter County, Pennsylvania|Potter County]] to the north and partially by [[Cameron County, Pennsylvania|Cameron County]] to the west. According to the [[United States Census Bureau]], the township has a total area of {{convert|251.6|km2|order=flip}}, of which {{convert|250.0|km2|order=flip}} is land and {{convert|1.6|km2|order=flip}}, or 0.62%, is water.<ref name="Census 2010"/>

The racial makeup of the township was 97.82% [[White (U.S. Census)|White]], 1.31% [[Native American (U.S. Census)|Native American]] and 0.87% [[Asian (U.S. Census)|Asian]].

There were 117 households, out of which 16.2% had children under the age of eighteen living with them; 53.0% were [[Marriage|married couples]] living together, 6.0% had a female householder with no husband present, and 40.2% were non-families. 35.9% of all households were made up of individuals, and 19.7% had someone living alone who was sixty-five years of age or older.

The average household size was 1.96 and the average family size was 2.53.

Within the township, the population was spread out, with 13.5% of residents who were under the age of eighteen, 3.5% who were aged eighteen to twenty-four, 19.7% who were aged twenty-five to forty-four, 39.3% who were aged sixty-five to forty-four, and 24.0% who were sixty-five years of age or older. The median age was fifty-two years.

For every one hundred females, there were 112.0 males. For every one hundred females who were aged eighteen or older, there were 106.3 males.

The median income for a household in the township was $33,125, and the median income for a family was $37,000. Males had a median income of $40,313 compared with that of $16,875 for females.
