==History==
Larwill was originally laid out and named Huntsville on November 13, 1854. The [[population density]] was {{convert|1286.4|PD/sqmi|PD/km2|1}}. There were 125 housing units at an average density of {{convert|568.2|/sqmi|/km2|1}}. The racial makeup of the town was 98.9% [[White (U.S. Census)|Non-Hispanic White]] and 1.1% from two or more races.
There were 100 households, of which 33.0% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 41.0% were [[Marriage|married couples]] living together, 16.0% had a female householder with no husband present, 12.0% had a male householder with no wife present, and 31.0% were non-families. 26.0% of all households were made up of individuals, and 13% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.83 and the average family size was 3.36.

There were 98 households, out of which 40.8% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 53.1% were [[Marriage|married couples]] living together, 14.3% had a female householder with no husband present, and 27.6% were non-families. 24.5% of all households were made up of individuals, and 10.2% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.88 and the average family size was 3.45.

In the town, the population was spread out, with 34.8% under the age of 18, 8.2% from 18 to 24, 32.3% from 25 to 44, 13.5% from 45 to 64, and 11.3% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 30 years. For every 100 females, there were 102.9 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 97.8 males.
