There were 967 housing units at an average density of {{convert|483.5|/sqmi|/km2|1}}. The racial makeup of the city was 94.4% [[White (U.S. Census)|White]], 0.3% [[African American (U.S. Census)|African American]], 1.5% [[Native American (U.S. Census)|Native American]], 0.2% [[Asian (U.S. Census)|Asian]], 0.9% from [[Race (U.S. Census)|other races]], and 2.6% from two or more races. [[Hispanic (U.S. Census)|Hispanic]] or [[Latino (U.S. Census)|Latino]] of any race were 3.2% of the population.<ref name ="FactFinder"/>

The racial makeup of the city was 93.73% White, 0.15% African American, 1.75% Native American, 0.44% Asian, 0.07% Pacific Islander, 0.95% from other races, and 2.92% from two or more races.
