The population was 37 at the 2000 census. ==History==
The city had developed at the time of construction of the Bagnell Dam and power plant, and many workers lived here. Few people were needed as residents to administer the complex, but the [[Union Electric Administration Building-Lakeside]] was built in association with the dam project. The building was added to the [[National Register of Historic Places]] in 1998. ==Geography==
Lakeside is located in western Miller County, adjacent to [[Bagnell Dam]]. It is bordered to the north, west, and south by the city of [[Lake Ozark, Missouri|Lake Ozark]]. According to the [[U.S. Census Bureau]], the city limits comprise a total area of {{convert|0.64|sqmi|km2}}, of which {{convert|0.35|sqmi|km2}} are land and {{convert|0.30|sqmi|km2}}, or 46.18%, are water, including the part of [[Lake of the Ozarks]] directly upstream from the dam, and the Osage River directly downstream.

There were 15 housing units at an average density of {{convert|43.0|/sqmi|/km2|sp=us|adj=off}}. The racial makeup of the city was 100.00% [[White (U.S. Census)|White]].

There were 14 households, out of which 42.9% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 92.9% were [[Marriage|married couples]] living together, and 7.1% were non-families. 7.1% of all households were made up of individuals, and none had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.64 and the average family size was 2.77.

In the city, the population was spread out, with 21.6% under the age of 18, 2.7% from 18 to 24, 40.5% from 25 to 44, and 35.1% from 45 to 64. The median age was 44 years. For every 100 females, there were 146.7 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 107.1 males.
