The population density was {{convert|1,852.3|PD/sqmi|PD/km2|sp=us|adj=off}}.  There were 700 housing units at an average density of {{convert|792.1|/sqmi|/km2|sp=us|adj=off}}.  The racial makeup of the CDP was 73.55% [[White (U.S. Census)|White]], 19.85% [[African American (U.S. Census)|African American]], 0.12% [[Native American (U.S. Census)|Native American]], 1.47% [[Asian (U.S. Census)|Asian]], 2.02% from [[Race (United States Census)|other races]], and 2.99% from two or more races. [[Hispanic (U.S. Census)|Hispanic]] or [[Latino (U.S. Census)|Latino]] of any race were 4.58% of the population.

There were 649 households, out of which 33.1% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 49.9% were [[Marriage|married couples]] living together, 16.0% had a female householder with no husband present, and 29.0% were non-families. 23.7% of all households were made up of individuals, and 8.5% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.  The average household size was 2.52 and the average family size was 2.96.

In the CDP, the population was spread out, with 26.8% under the age of 18, 6.1% from 18 to 24, 30.6% from 25 to 44, 23.0% from 45 to 64, and 13.5% who were 65 years of age or older.  The median age was 37 years. For every 100 females, there were 91.9 males.  For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 87.1 males.

The median income for a household in the CDP was $43,261, and the median income for a family was $47,692. Males had a median income of $33,967 versus $23,393 for females. About 7.7% of families and 12.3% of the population were below the [[poverty line]], including 19.2% of those under age 18 and 9.9% of those age 65 or over.
