The [[population density]] was {{convert|637.8|PD/sqmi|PD/km2|1}}. There were 233 housing units at an average density of {{convert|314.9|/sqmi|/km2|1}}. The racial makeup of the village was 97.7% [[White (U.S. Census)|White]], 1.3% [[Native American (U.S. Census)|Native American]], 0.2% [[Asian (U.S. Census)|Asian]], and 0.8% from two or more races. [[Hispanic (U.S. Census)|Hispanic]] or [[Latino (U.S. Census)|Latino]] of any race were 2.1% of the population.

The racial makeup of the village was 99.79% [[White (U.S. Census)|White]] and 0.21% [[Pacific Islander (U.S. Census)|Pacific Islander]]. [[Hispanic (U.S. Census)|Hispanic]] or [[Latino (U.S. Census)|Latino]] of any race were 0.64% of the population.

There were 200 households, out of which 31.0% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 53.0% were [[Marriage|married couples]] living together, 5.5% had a female householder with no husband present, and 37.0% were non-families. 33.0% of all households were made up of individuals, and 17.5% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.33 and the average family size was 2.98.

In the village, the population was spread out, with 24.3% under the age of 18, 9.0% from 18 to 24, 27.3% from 25 to 44, 21.1% from 45 to 64, and 18.3% who were 65 years of age or older. The median income for a household in the village was $36,250, and the median income for a family was $43,393. Males had a median income of $30,000 versus $20,938 for females. Kendall formerly had intercity passenger rail service available at the [[Kendalls Depot]]. Today, the depot is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and the rail line is the [[Elroy-Sparta State Trail]].
