==Geography==
Hillman is in eastern Morrison County and is surrounded by [[Leigh Township, Morrison County, Minnesota|Leigh Township]]. It is {{convert|12|mi}} east-northeast of [[Pierz, Minnesota|Pierz]], {{convert|28|mi}} east of [[Little Falls, Minnesota|Little Falls]], the [[county seat]], and {{convert|16|mi}} by road southwest of [[Onamia, Minnesota|Onamia]].

According to the [[United States Census Bureau]], Hillman has a total area of {{convert|0.62|sqmi|sqkm|2}}, all land.<ref name="CenPopGazetteer2023"/> Hillman Creek passes through the northern end of the city limits, flowing west to join the [[Skunk River (Platte River tributary)|Skunk River]] at Pierz.

As of the [[2010 United States census|2010 census]], there were 38 people, 15 households, and 12 families living in the city. The [[population density]] was {{convert|69.1|PD/sqmi|PD/km2|1}}. There were 18 housing units at an average density of {{convert|32.7|/sqmi|/km2|1}}. The racial makeup of the city was 100.0% [[White (U.S. Census)|White]].

There were 15 households, of which 33.3% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 60.0% were [[Marriage|married couples]] living together, 13.3% had a female householder with no husband present, 6.7% had a male householder with no wife present, and 20.0% were non-families. 20.0% of all households were made up of individuals, and 6.7% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.53 and the average family size was 2.83.

The median age in the city was 37 years. 28.9% of residents were under the age of 18; 2.7% were between the ages of 18 and 24; 23.7% were from 25 to 44; 31.6% were from 45 to 64; and 13.2% were 65 years of age or older. The gender makeup of the city was 42.1% male and 57.9% female.
