==Geography==
High Hill is in eastern Montgomery County, adjacent to [[Interstate 70 in Missouri|Interstate 70]]. The city is accessible from the expressway via Highway F. I-70 leads west {{convert|4|mi|0}} to [[New Florence, Missouri|New Florence]] and east {{convert|5|mi|0}} to [[Jonesburg, Missouri|Jonesburg]]. [[St. Louis]] is {{convert|75|mi}} to the east, and [[Columbia, Missouri|Columbia]] is {{convert|55|mi}} to the west. The racial makeup of the city was 95.9% [[White (U.S. Census)|White]], 1.0% [[Native American (U.S. Census)|Native American]], 2.1% [[Asian (U.S. Census)|Asian]], 0.5% from [[Race (U.S. Census)|other races]], and 0.5% from two or more races. [[Hispanic (U.S. Census)|Hispanic]] or [[Latino (U.S. Census)|Latino]] of any race were 1.0% of the population.

There were 102 households, out of which 27.5% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 49.0% were [[Marriage|married couples]] living together, 6.9% had a female householder with no husband present, and 39.2% were non-families. 35.3% of all households were made up of individuals, and 21.6% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.26 and the average family size was 2.98.

In the city, the population was spread out, with 22.9% under the age of 18, 10.4% from 18 to 24, 18.2% from 25 to 44, 29.9% from 45 to 64, and 18.6% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 44 years. For every 100 females, there were 97.4 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 95.6 males.

The median income for a household in the city was $31,429, and the median income for a family was $36,250. Males had a median income of $32,500 versus $17,188 for females.
