Hispanics or Latinos of any race were 9.76% of the population. Of the 161 households, 24.8% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 49.7% were married couples living together, 8.1% had a female householder with no husband present, and 39.1% were not families. About 37.9% of all households were made up of individuals, and 25.5% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.35, and the average family size was 3.13. In the city, the age distribution was 28.8% under 18, 6.9% from 18 to 24, 19.0% from 25 to 44, 21.6% from 45 to 64, and 23.7% who were 65 or older. The median age was 42 years. For every 100 females, there were 83.1 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 74.2 males. The median income for a household in the city was $25,750, and for a family was $39,375.
