Despite this, the Northern part of the village is part of the [[Three Village Central School District]] in the [[Brookhaven, New York|Town of Brookhaven]]. There were 501 housing units at an average density of {{convert|177.8|/sqmi|/km2|sp=us|adj=off}}. The [[Race and ethnicity in the United States Census#2010 census|racial makup]] of the village was 95.02% White, 1.24% African American, 3.25% Asian, and 0.48% from two or more races.
