==Geography==
Gulfport is located on the western edge of Henderson County. It is bordered to the west by the [[Mississippi River]], which is also the state boundary with [[Iowa]]. [[U.S. Route 34]] passes through the village, crossing the Mississippi via the [[Great River Bridge]] to [[Burlington, Iowa]]. To the east US 34 leads {{convert|27|mi}} to [[Monmouth, Illinois|Monmouth]] and {{convert|44|mi}} to [[Galesburg, Illinois|Galesburg]].
