The [[population density]] was {{convert|34.0|PD/sqmi|PD/km2|1}}. There were 725 housing units at an average density of {{convert|16.6|/sqmi|/km2|1}}. The ethnic makeup of the town was 94.2% [[White (U.S. Census)|White]], 0.3% [[African American (U.S. Census)|African American]], 2.0% [[Native American (U.S. Census)|Native American]], 0.3% [[Asian (U.S. Census)|Asian]], and 3.3% from two or more races. [[Hispanic (U.S. Census)|Hispanic]] or [[Latino (U.S. Census)|Latino]] of any race were 0.3% of the population.

There were 602 households, of which 33.6% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 53.3% were [[Marriage|married couples]] living together, 8.5% had a female householder with no husband present, 5.6% had a male householder with no wife present, and 32.6% were non-families. 23.3% of all households were made up of individuals, and 5.5% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.48 and the average family size was 2.88.

The population density was {{convert|32.5|PD/sqmi|PD/km2|sp=us|adj=off}}.  There were 600 housing units at an average density of 13.7 per square mile (5.3/km{{sup|2}}). The ethnic makeup of the town was 96.48% [[White (U.S. Census)|White]], 0.70% [[African American (U.S. Census)|African American]], 1.20% [[Native American (U.S. Census)|Native American]], 0.07% [[Asian (U.S. Census)|Asian]], 0.07% from [[Race (United States Census)|other races]], and 1.48% from two or more races. [[Hispanic (U.S. Census)|Hispanic]] or [[Latino (U.S. Census)|Latino]] of any race were 0.28% of the population.

The median age was 35 years. For every 100 females, there were 103.0 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 101.6 males.

The median income for a household in the town was $31,736, and the median income for a family was $35,962. Males had a median income of $32,095 versus $20,365 for females.
