==Geography==
Graymoor-Devondale is located in northeastern Jefferson County. It is bordered to the southeast by [[Lyndon, Kentucky|Lyndon]], to the south by [[St. Matthews, Kentucky|St. Matthews]], to the west by [[Windy Hills, Kentucky|Windy Hills]], to the northwest by [[Crossgate, Kentucky|Crossgate]], to the north by [[Bancroft, Kentucky|Bancroft]], and to the northwest, north, and northeast by consolidated [[Louisville, Kentucky|Louisville]]/Jefferson County. The western border of the community is formed by [[Interstate 264 (Kentucky)|Interstate 264]], with access from Exit 21 (Westport Road) to the south and Exit 22 ([[U.S. Route 42]]) to the north. [[Downtown Louisville]] is {{convert|8|mi|0}} to the west.

The racial makeup of the city was 90.39% [[White (U.S. Census)|White]], 5.20% [[African American (U.S. Census)|Black]] or [[Race (United States Census)|African American]], 0.31% [[Native American (U.S. Census)|Native American]], 2.43% [[Asian (U.S. Census)|Asian]], 0.17% [[Pacific Islander (U.S. Census)|Pacific Islander]], 0.58% from [[Race (United States Census)|other races]], and 0.92% from two or more races. In the city, the population was spread out, with 19.8% under the age of 18, 5.3% from 18 to 24, 23.0% from 25 to 44, 21.6% from 45 to 64, and 30.4% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 46 years. For every 100 females, there were 75.0 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 67.2 males.

The median income for a household in the city was $51,065, and the median income for a family was $66,613. Males had a median income of $46,283 versus $30,431 for females.
