I-85 leads northeast {{convert|46|mi}} to [[Atlanta]] and southwest {{convert|114|mi}} to [[Montgomery, Alabama]], while US 29, a more local road, leads north {{convert|12|mi}} to [[Newnan, Georgia|Newnan]], the Coweta County seat, and southwest {{convert|20|mi}} to [[LaGrange, Georgia|LaGrange]].

As of the [[2020 United States census]], there were 3,103 people, 1,046 households, and 841 families residing in the city.

==In film and television==
A number of episodes of the AMC series [[The Walking Dead (TV series)|''The Walking Dead'']] were shot in the town. Since the shooting of the series tourism to the town has increased greatly, making it an important industry to the town.
