==Geography==
Grand View is on the Snake River, which is the border with [[Elmore County, Idaho|Elmore County]].

The [[population density]] was {{convert|793.0|PD/sqmi|PD/km2|1}}. There were 198 housing units at an average density of {{convert|347.4|/sqmi|/km2|1}}. The racial makeup of the city was 84.7% [[White (U.S. Census)|White]], 0.7% [[African American (U.S. Census)|African American]], 2.4% [[Native American (U.S. Census)|Native American]], 0.2% [[Asian (U.S. Census)|Asian]], 8.8% from [[Race (U.S. Census)|other races]], and 3.1% from two or more races. [[Hispanic (U.S. Census)|Hispanic]] or [[Latino (U.S. Census)|Latino]] of any race were 16.8% of the population.

There were 172 households, of which 35.5% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 48.3% were [[Marriage|married couples]] living together, 9.3% had a female householder with no husband present, 6.4% had a male householder with no wife present, and 36.0% were non-families. 30.8% of all households were made up of individuals, and 13.3% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.58 and the average family size was 3.26.

The median age in the city was 33.8 years. 31% of residents were under the age of 18; 7.5% were between the ages of 18 and 24; 21.1% were from 25 to 44; 24.1% were from 45 to 64; and 16.4% were 65 years of age or older. The gender makeup of the city was 52.7% male and 47.3% female.

The population density was {{convert|856.7|PD/sqmi|PD/km2|sp=us|adj=off}}.  There were 228 housing units at an average density of {{convert|415.6|/sqmi|/km2|sp=us|adj=off}}.  The racial makeup of the city was 92.77% [[White (U.S. Census)|White]], 1.91% [[Native American (U.S. Census)|Native American]], 4.04% from [[Race (United States Census)|other races]], and 1.28% from two or more races. [[Hispanic (U.S. Census)|Hispanic]] or [[Latino (U.S. Census)|Latino]] of any race were 16.60% of the population.

There were 187 households, out of which 34.8% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 49.7% were [[Marriage|married couples]] living together, 12.8% had a female householder with no husband present, and 32.6% were non-families. 28.3% of all households were made up of individuals, and 13.4% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. In the city, the population was spread out, with 30.9% under the age of 18, 11.5% from 18 to 24, 24.5% from 25 to 44, 17.9% from 45 to 64, and 15.3% who were 65 years of age or older.  The median age was 34 years. For every 100 females, there were 95.8 males.  For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 91.2 males.

The median income for a household in the city was $21,417, and the median income for a family was $26,000. Males had a median income of $25,417 versus $27,917 for females. About 25.0% of families and 28.6% of the population were below the [[poverty line]], including 34.9% of those under age 18 and 28.9% of those age 65 or over.

==Highways==
The city is served by [[Idaho State Highway 67|State Highway 167]], which connects eastward to [[Mountain Home, Idaho|Mountain Home]] in [[Elmore County, Idaho|Elmore County]]. Within Owyhee County, [[Idaho State Highway 78|State Highway 78]] heads northwest to [[Murphy, Idaho|Murphy]] and [[Marsing, Idaho|Marsing]], and southeast to [[Bruneau, Idaho|Bruneau]].
