The '''Goulburn River National Park''' is a [[national park]] located in New South Wales, Australia, {{convert|213|km}} northwest of Sydney and it is {{convert|35|km}} south-west of [[Merriwa, New South Wales|Merriwa]]. The Goulburn River National Park is located in the [[Hunter Region|Hunter Valley region]] and covers approximately {{convert|90|km}} of the [[Goulburn River (New South Wales)|Goulburn River]]. It is near the towns of [[Sandy Hollow, New South Wales|Sandy Hollow]], [[Denman, New South Wales|Denman]], [[Merriwa, New South Wales|Merriwa]], and [[Mudgee]].

==Animals==
The park is a sanctuary for kangaroos, wombats, emus, goannas, platypus, and a wide variety of birds. ==Aboriginal heritage==
