The population density was {{convert|41.5|PD/sqmi|PD/km2|sp=us|adj=off}}. There were 192 housing units at an average density of 17.4 per square mile (6.7/km{{sup|2}}). The racial makeup of the village was 98.47% [[White (U.S. Census)|White]], 0.66% [[Native American (U.S. Census)|Native American]], 0.22% [[Pacific Islander (U.S. Census)|Pacific Islander]], 0.22% from [[Race (United States Census)|other races]], and 0.44% from two or more races. [[Hispanic (U.S. Census)|Hispanic]] or [[Latino (U.S. Census)|Latino]] of any race were 0.44% of the population.

There were 163 households, out of which 39.3% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 63.8% were married couples living together, 10.4% had a female householder with no husband present, and 19.6% were non-families. 17.2% of all households were made up of individuals, and 11.7% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The Goldonna Elementary/Junior High School serves pre-[[kindergarten]] through grade 8. Pupils come from as far away as the [[village (Louisiana)|village]] of [[Ashland, Natchitoches Parish, Louisiana|Ashland]] to the west, where the defunct [[Ashland High School (Ashland, Louisiana)|Ashland High School]] was located.
