Glenview Manor was named for the nearby community of [[Glenview, Kentucky|Glenview]], although Glenview Manor was formally incorporated in 1965,<ref>Commonwealth of Kentucky. ==Geography==
Glenview Manor is located in northern Jefferson County. It is bordered to the south and west by [[Northfield, Kentucky|Northfield]] and to the north and east by consolidated [[Louisville, Kentucky|Louisville]]/Jefferson County. The city is {{convert|8|mi|0}} northeast of [[downtown Louisville]].
