The racial makeup of the city was 94.6% [[White (U.S. Census)|White]], 3.4% [[Native American (U.S. Census)|Native American]], and 2.0% from [[Race (U.S. Census)|other races]]. [[Hispanic (U.S. Census)|Hispanic]] or [[Latino (U.S. Census)|Latino]] of any race were 2.0% of the population.

[[Hispanic (U.S. Census)|Hispanic]] or [[Latino (U.S. Census)|Latino]] of any race were 0.60% of the population.

The average household size was 2.05 and the average family size was 2.84.

In the city, the population was spread out, with 20.5% under the age of 18, 6.6% from 18 to 24, 15.7% from 25 to 44, 31.9% from 45 to 64, and 25.3% who were 65 years of age or older.
