The [[population density]] was {{convert|383.3|PD/sqmi|PD/km2|1}}. There were 81 housing units at an average density of {{convert|270.0|/sqmi|/km2|1}}. The racial makeup of the town was 97.4% [[White (U.S. Census)|White]], 1.7% [[African American (U.S. Census)|African American]], and 0.9% [[Native American (U.S. Census)|Native American]].

There were 63 households, of which 17.5% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 41.3% were [[Marriage|married couples]] living together, 11.1% had a female householder with no husband present, and 47.6% were non-families. 44.4% of all households were made up of individuals, and 22.2% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 1.83 and the average family size was 2.52.

The median age was 52.5 years. 15.7% of residents were under the age of 18; 3.3% were between the ages of 18 and 24; 14.7% were from 25 to 44; 37.3% were from 45 to 64; and 28.7% were 65 years of age or older. The sex make-up of the town was 46.1% male and 53.9% female.
