Everton is located on the Springfield Plateau region of the [[Ozark Mountains|Ozarks]] in southeast Dade County, south of [[Stockton Lake]] between [[Ash Grove, Missouri|Ash Grove]] and [[Greenfield, Missouri|Greenfield]].<ref name=atlas/>

The racial makeup of the city was 94.7% [[White (U.S. Census)|White]], 0.9% [[African American (U.S. Census)|African American]], 1.6% [[Native American (U.S. Census)|Native American]], and 2.8% from two or more races. [[Hispanic (U.S. Census)|Hispanic]] or [[Latino (U.S. Census)|Latino]] of any race were 1.6% of the population.

The racial makeup of the city was 97.52% [[White (U.S. Census)|White]], 0.93% [[Native American (U.S. Census)|Native American]], and 1.55% from two or more races. [[Hispanic (U.S. Census)|Hispanic]] or [[Latino (U.S. Census)|Latino]] of any race were 0.31% of the population.

==Recreation==
Everton contains a public park named Dye's Park to the south of the city. This park boasts the Historic Dade County Courthouse, also known as the Penn Cabin, which was the county's first courthouse.
