The [[population density]] was {{convert|954.8|PD/sqmi|PD/km2|1}}. There were 205 housing units at an average density of {{convert|488.1|/sqmi|/km2|1}}. The racial makeup of the village was 98.5% [[White (U.S. Census)|White]], 0.5% [[Asian (U.S. Census)|Asian]], 0.2% from [[Race (U.S. Census)|other races]], and 0.7% from two or more races. [[Hispanic (U.S. Census)|Hispanic]] or [[Latino (U.S. Census)|Latino]] of any race were 1.2% of the population.

There were 180 households, of which 28.3% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 56.1% were [[Marriage|married couples]] living together, 6.1% had a female householder with no husband present, 3.3% had a male householder with no wife present, and 34.4% were non-families. 31.1% of all households were made up of individuals, and 11.7% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.23 and the average family size was 2.75.

The racial makeup of the village was 98.92% [[White (U.S. Census)|White]], 0.22% [[Native American (U.S. Census)|Native American]], 0.22% [[Asian (U.S. Census)|Asian]], and 0.65% from two or more races. [[Hispanic (U.S. Census)|Hispanic]] or [[Latino (U.S. Census)|Latino]] of any race were 1.08% of the population.

There were 187 households, out of which 34.2% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 57.8% were [[Marriage|married couples]] living together, 6.4% had a female householder with no husband present, and 32.6% were non-families. 31.6% of all households were made up of individuals, and 16.0% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.48 and the average family size was 3.16.

In the village, the population was spread out, with 30.8% under the age of 18, 6.0% from 18 to 24, 26.9% from 25 to 44, 19.4% from 45 to 64, and 16.8% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 39 years. For every 100 females, there were 95.0 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 89.9 males.

As of 2000 the median income for a household in the village was $34,205, and the median income for a family was $41,750. Males had a median income of $29,583 versus $17,321 for females.
