The town was organized in 1904, in large part due to the efforts of state senator [[A. ==Geography==
According to the [[United States Census Bureau]], the town of Eileen has a total area of {{convert|91.4|sqkm|disp=flip}}, of which {{convert|91.2|sqkm|disp=flip}} is land and {{convert|0.2|sqkm|disp=flip}}, or 0.21%, is water.<ref name="Census 2010"/>  Main routes in the town include U.S. Highways [[U.S. Highway 2|2]] and [[U.S. Highway 63|63]], Wisconsin Highways [[Wisconsin Highway 118|118]] and [[Wisconsin Highway 137|137]], and County G.

The town of Eileen is bordered to the east by the city of [[Ashland, Wisconsin|Ashland]] and also the town of [[Gingles, Wisconsin|Gingles]] in [[Ashland County, Wisconsin|Ashland County]].  It is bordered to the north by the town of [[Barksdale, Wisconsin|Barksdale]] in Bayfield County.

There were 249 households, out of which 34.9% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 66.3% were [[Marriage|married couples]] living together, 4.8% had a female householder with no husband present, and 23.3% were non-families. 18.5% of all households were made up of individuals, and 9.6% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.57 and the average family size was 2.95.

In the town, the population was spread out, with 25.2% under the age of 18, 4.7% from 18 to 24, 27.8% from 25 to 44, 26.9% from 45 to 64, and 15.5% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 40 years. For every 100 females, there were 106.5 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 103.8 males.

The median income for a household in the town was $44,844, and the median income for a family was $52,404. Males had a median income of $38,333 versus $21,964 for females.
