[[Interstate 95 in North Carolina|Interstate 95]] runs parallel to US 301 on the east side of town, with access from Exits 55, 56, and 58. I-95 leads northeast {{convert|82|mi}} to the [[Rocky Mount, North Carolina|Rocky Mount]] area and southwest {{convert|91|mi}} to [[Florence, South Carolina]].
