==Geography==
East Lynne is located six miles east of [[Harrisonville, Missouri|Harrisonville]] on [[Missouri Route K]]. The site is on the [[Missouri–Kansas–Texas Railroad]] and the [[St. Louis–San Francisco Railway]] lines. [[Gunn City, Missouri|Gunn City]] is three miles to the east along the Missouri–Kansas–Texas line. The racial makeup of the city was 97.4% [[White (U.S. Census)|White]], 0.3% [[African American (U.S. Census)|African American]], 0.3% [[Native American (U.S. Census)|Native American]], and 2.0% from two or more races.
