As of the [[2020 United States census]], there were 7,137 people, 2,401 households, and 1,787 families residing in the CDP.

As of the [[census]]<ref name="GR2">{{cite web |url=https://www.census.gov |publisher=[[United States Census Bureau]] |accessdate=January 31, 2008 |title=U.S. Census website }}</ref> of 2000, there were 5,623 people, 2,049 households, and 1,643 families residing in the CDP.  The population density was {{convert|279.6|PD/sqmi|PD/km2|sp=us|adj=off}}.  There were 2,170 housing units at an average density of {{convert|107.9|/sqmi|/km2|sp=us|adj=off}}.  The racial makeup of the CDP was 95.87% [[Race (United States Census)|White]], 0.87% [[Race (United States Census)|Black]] or [[Race (United States Census)|African American]], 0.66% [[Race (United States Census)|Native American]], 0.87% [[Race (United States Census)|Asian]], 0.05% [[Race (United States Census)|Pacific Islander]], 0.32% from [[Race (United States Census)|other races]], and 1.35% from two or more races.  1.28% of the population were [[Race (United States Census)|Hispanic]] or [[Race (United States Census)|Latino]] of any race.

There were 2,049 households, out of which 41.0% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 67.1% were [[Marriage|married couples]] living together, 9.2% had a female householder with no husband present, and 19.8% were non-families. 15.9% of all households were made up of individuals, and 4.1% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.  The average household size was 2.74 and the average family size was 3.06.

In the CDP, the population was spread out, with 28.1% under the age of 18, 7.7% from 18 to 24, 33.4% from 25 to 44, 24.4% from 45 to 64, and 6.4% who were 65 years of age or older.  The median age was 34 years. For every 100 females, there were 103.0 males.  For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 98.8 males.

The median income for a household in the CDP was $46,678, and the median income for a family was $49,649. Males had a median income of $31,396 versus $24,831 for females. About 4.3% of families and 6.1% of the population were below the [[poverty line]], including 8.3% of those under age 18 and 7.7% of those age 65 or over.

East End's schools are part of the [[Sheridan School District (Arkansas)|Sheridan School District]].  The East End schools include East End Elementary grades K-2, East End Intermediate grades 3–5, and East End Middle grades 6–8.
