==Geography==

East Dublin is located in north-central Laurens County at {{coord|32|33|3|N|82|52|7|W|type:city}} (32.550854, -82.868661),<ref name="GR1">{{cite web|url=https://www.census.gov/geographies/reference-files/time-series/geo/gazetteer-files.html|publisher=[[United States Census Bureau]]|accessdate=2011-04-23|date=2011-02-12|title=US Gazetteer files: 2010, 2000, and 1990}}</ref> on the east bank of the [[Oconee River]]. It is bordered to the west, across the river, by the city of [[Dublin, Georgia|Dublin]], the Laurens [[county seat]].

U.S. Routes [[U.S. Route 80|80]] and [[U.S. Route 319|319]] pass through East Dublin as Central Drive. US 80 leads east {{convert|33|mi}} to [[Swainsboro, Georgia|Swainsboro]], while US 319 leads northeast {{convert|16|mi}} to [[Wrightsville, Georgia|Wrightsville]]. The two highways lead west together into Dublin. [[Interstate 16]] passes {{convert|6|mi|0}} south of East Dublin, with access from Exit 58 ([[Georgia State Route 199|State Route 199]]).
