The racial makeup of the village was 94.4% [[White Americans|White]], 4.2% [[Multiracial Americans|Mixed]], 0.4% [[African Americans|Black]], 0.3% [[Native Americans in the United States|Native American]], and 0.2% [[Asian Americans|Asian]]. [[Hispanic (U.S. Census)|Hispanic]] or [[Latino (U.S. Census)|Latino]] of any race were 1.1% of the population.

For non-family households, those with a female householder had a median income of $47,917, while those with a male householder had a medium income of $37,019. Public schools are managed by [[Auburn Community Unit School District 10]]. Secondary education is provided by Auburn High School, located on North Seventh Street.
