As of the [[census]] of 2010, there were 204 people, 78 households, and 62 families residing in the city. The [[population density]] was {{convert|384.9|PD/sqmi|PD/km2|1}}. There were 78 housing units at an average density of {{convert|147.2|/sqmi|/km2|1}}. The racial makeup of the city was 96.6% [[White (U.S. Census)|White]], 2.0% [[Native American (U.S. Census)|Native American]], and 1.5% from two or more races. [[Hispanic (U.S. Census)|Hispanic]] or [[Latino (U.S. Census)|Latino]] people of any race were 0.5% of the population.

There were 78 households, of which 32.1% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 69.2% were [[Marriage|married couples]] living together, 2.6% had a female householder with no husband present, 7.7% had a male householder with no wife present, and 20.5% were non-families. 15.4% of all households were made up of individuals, and 5.1% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.62 and the average family size was 2.92.

The racial makeup of the city was 99.04% [[White (U.S. Census)|White]], 0.48% [[Native American (U.S. Census)|Native American]], and 0.48% from two or more races. [[Hispanic (U.S. Census)|Hispanic]] or [[Latino (U.S. Census)|Latino]] people of any race were 0.96% of the population.

There were 75 households, out of which 36.0% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 72.0% were [[Marriage|married couples]] living together, 6.7% had a female householder with no husband present, and 16.0% were non-families. 14.7% of all households were made up of individuals, and 6.7% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. ==Transportation==
[[Amtrak]]'s [[Empire Builder]], which operates between [[Seattle]]/[[Portland, Oregon|Portland]] and [[Chicago]], passes through the town on [[BNSF Railway|BNSF]] tracks, but makes no stop. The [[Minot station|nearest station]] is located in [[Minot, North Dakota|Minot]], {{convert|14|mi}} to the east. 

==Education==
Des Lacs shares its school system with [[Burlington, North Dakota|Burlington]]. Students in grades [[kindergarten]] through six attend school in Burlington, where the elementary school is located, while those in grades seven through twelve attend in Des Lacs at [[Des Lacs-Burlington High School]]. The district is United Public School District 7.<ref>[http://www.dbhs.united.k12.nd.us/ United Public School District 7]</ref> Des Lacs students meet at the high school to ride their buses to school. Burlington students meet at the elementary school to ride their buses to school.
