==History==
Delphos was founded in 1867 by Levi and Dan Yockey. The racial makeup of the city was 96.4% [[White (U.S. Census)|White]], 0.8% [[African American (U.S. Census)|African American]], 0.3% [[Native American (U.S. Census)|Native American]], 0.8% from [[Race (U.S. Census)|other races]], and 1.7% from two or more races. The racial makeup of the city was 98.93% [[White (U.S. Census)|White]], 0.21% [[Native American (U.S. Census)|Native American]], and 0.85% from two or more races. [[Hispanic (U.S. Census)|Hispanic]] or [[Latino (U.S. Census)|Latino]] of any race were 1.49% of the population.
