Curryville was [[plat]]ted in 1866, and named after Perry A. Curryville is located in western Pike County on [[U.S. Route 54]] about seven miles west of [[Bowling Green, Missouri|Bowling Green]]. The racial makeup of the city was 91.1% [[White (U.S. Census)|White]], 1.8% [[African American (U.S. Census)|African American]], 1.8% [[Native American (U.S. Census)|Native American]], 0.4% [[Asian (U.S. Census)|Asian]], and 4.9% from two or more races. [[Hispanic (U.S. Census)|Hispanic]] or [[Latino (U.S. Census)|Latino]] of any race were 1.8% of the population.
