It is part of the [[Albuquerque, New Mexico|Albuquerque]] [[Albuquerque metropolitan area|Metropolitan Statistical Area]].

==Description==

Located along the busy [[U.S. Route 550]], Cuba has several motels, restaurants and bars. The population density was {{convert|465.3|PD/sqmi|PD/km2|sp=us|adj=off}}. There were 290 housing units at an average density of {{convert|228.7|/sqmi|/km2|sp=us|adj=off}}. The racial makeup of the village was 44.07% [[White (U.S. Census)|white]], 0.17% [[African American (U.S. Census)|African American]], 26.78% [[Native American (U.S. Census)|Native American]], 0.68% [[Asian (U.S. Census)|Asian]], 23.90% from [[Race (United States Census)|other races]], and 4.41% from two or more races. [[Hispanic (U.S. Census)|Hispanic]] or [[Latino (U.S. Census)|Latino]] of any race were 60.34% of the population.

There were 222 households, out of which 38.3% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 43.7% were [[Marriage|married couples]] living together, 18.9% had a female householder with no husband present, and 31.1% were non-families. 29.3% of all households were made up of individuals, and 8.1% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.66 and the average family size was 3.24.

In the village, the population was spread out, with 33.2% under the age of 18, 7.8% from 18 to 24, 23.9% from 25 to 44, 21.9% from 45 to 64, and 13.2% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 32 years. For every 100 females, there were 99.3 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 95.0 males.

The median income for a household in the village was $21,538, and the median income for a family was $26,250. Males had a median income of $26,667 versus $17,000 for females.
