'''Continental Glacier''' is in [[Bridger-Teton National Forest|Bridger-Teton]] and [[Shoshone National Forest]]s, in the U.S. state of [[Wyoming]] and straddles the [[Continental Divide of the Americas|Continental Divide]] in the northern [[Wind River Range]].<ref name=topo>{{Cite map|publisher=TopoQwest (United States Geological Survey Maps)|title=Downs Mountain, WY|url=http://www.topoquest.com/map.php?lat=43.33410&lon=-109.69149&datum=nad83&zoom=4|accessdate=2012-08-25}}</ref> Continental Glacier is in both the [[Bridger Wilderness|Bridger]] and [[Fitzpatrick Wilderness]]es, and is part of the largest grouping of glaciers in the American [[Rocky Mountains]]. Continental Glacier is situated at an elevation range of {{convert|13100|to|11200|ft}} and forms a nearly unbroken [[Ice field|icefield]] over {{convert|3|mi}} in length along a high altitude plateau to the north of [[Downs Mountain]]. Immediately east of Continental Glacier lies [[East Torrey Glacier]].<ref name=topo/>
