The [[population density]] was 9.8 people per square mile (3.8/km{{sup|2}}). There were 92 housing units at an average density of 5.0/sq&nbsp;mi (1.9/km{{sup|2}}). The racial makeup of the township was 97.21% [[White (U.S. Census)|White]], 0.56% [[Native American (U.S. Census)|Native American]], 0.56% from [[Race (United States Census)|other races]], and 1.68% from two or more races. [[Hispanic (U.S. Census)|Hispanic]] or [[Latino (U.S. Census)|Latino]] of any race were 0.56% of the population.

There were 56 households, out of which 26.8% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 71.4% were [[Marriage|married couples]] living together, 8.9% had a female householder with no husband present, and 19.6% were non-families. 19.6% of all households were made up of individuals, and 12.5% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.79 and the average family size was 3.16.

In the township the population was spread out, with 22.3% under the age of 18, 3.9% from 18 to 24, 25.7% from 25 to 44, 20.7% from 45 to 64, and 27.4% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 43 years. For every 100 females, there were 61.3 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 65.5 males.

The median income for a household in the township was $42,500, and the median income for a family was $44,583. Males had a median income of $30,625 versus $17,273 for females. About 4.7% of families and 6.3% of the population were below the [[poverty line]], including 22.2% of those under the age of eighteen and none of those sixty five or over.
