'''Clyde''' is a village in southeastern [[Nodaway County, Missouri|Nodaway County]], [[Missouri]], United States.  The population was 55 at the [[2020 United States census|2020 census]].

It is home to the [[Benedictine Convent of Perpetual Adoration]] which houses 550 documented saint [[relic]]s—one of the largest collections in the United States.

==History==

==Geography==
Clyde, the smallest community in the [[Tri-C Area]],  is located one mile east of [[Conception Junction, Missouri|Conception Junction]] and two miles northeast of [[Conception, Missouri|Conception]]. Clyde is approximately 5.5 miles south of [[Ravenwood, Missouri|Ravenwood]].

The [[population density]] was {{convert|546.7|PD/sqmi|PD/km2|1}}. There were 30 housing units at an average density of {{convert|200.0|/sqmi|/km2|1}}. The racial makeup of the village was 100.0% [[White (U.S. Census)|White]].

There were 27 households, of which 44.4% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 59.3% were [[Marriage|married couples]] living together, 14.8% had a female householder with no husband present, 7.4% had a male householder with no wife present, and 18.5% were non-families. 14.8% of all households were made up of individuals. The average household size was 3.04 and the average family size was 3.27.

The median age in the village was 35 years. 34.1% of residents were under the age of 18; 5% were between the ages of 18 and 24; 26.9% were from 25 to 44; 24.4% were from 45 to 64; and 9.8% were 65 years of age or older. The gender makeup of the village was 56.1% male and 43.9% female.

The racial makeup of the village was 98.65% [[White (U.S. Census)|White]], and 1.35% from two or more races.

There were 25 households, out of which 44.0% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 80.0% were [[Marriage|married couples]] living together, 8.0% had a female householder with no husband present, and 12.0% were non-families. 12.0% of all households were made up of individuals, and 4.0% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.96 and the average family size was 3.18.

In the village, the population was spread out, with 32.4% under the age of 18, 13.5% from 18 to 24, 27.0% from 25 to 44, 23.0% from 45 to 64, and 4.1% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 28 years. For every 100 females, there were 76.2 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 78.6 males.

The median income for a household in the village was $36,250, and the median income for a family was $36,250. Males had a median income of $26,458 versus $28,750 for females.
