'''Cache''' is a city in [[Comanche County, Oklahoma|Comanche County]], [[Oklahoma]], United States. The population was 2,796 at the [[United States Census, 2010|2010 census]]. It is an [[exurb]] included in the [[Lawton, Oklahoma]] [[Lawton metropolitan area|Metropolitan Statistical Area]]. It is the location of [[Quanah Parker Star House|Star House]], the home of the [[Comanche]] [[tribal chief|chief]] [[Quanah Parker]], the major leader of the Quahadi Comanche in the years of Indian Wars and transition to reservation life.

As of the [[census]] of 2010, there were 2,796 people, 1,037 households, and 780 families residing in the city. The population density was {{convert|795.9|PD/sqmi|PD/km2|sp=us|adj=off}}. There were 1,140 housing units at an average density of {{convert|324.5|/sqmi|/km2|sp=us|adj=off}}. The racial makeup of the city was 70.8% [[White (U.S. Census)|White]], 2.5% [[African American (U.S. Census)|African American]], 18.6% [[Native American (U.S. Census)|Native American]] (13.45% [[Comanche people|Comanche]]),<ref>{{cite web|url=http://www.epodunk.com/ancestry/Comanche.html|archive-url=https://web.archive.org/web/20191112084625/http://epodunk.com:80/ancestry/Comanche.html|archive-date=2019-11-12|title=Ancestry Search -Genealogy by City|access-date=2023-08-05}}</ref> 0.4% [[Asian (U.S. Census)|Asian]], 0.3% [[Pacific Islander (U.S. Census)|Pacific Islander]], 0.09% from [[Race (United States Census)|other races]], and 6.5% from two or more races. There were 1,037 households, out of which 42.3% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 52.1% were [[Marriage|married couples]] living together, 16.0% had a female householder with no husband present, and 24.8% were non-families. 21.5% of all households were made up of individuals, and 8.0% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.70 and the average family size was 3.10.

In the city, the population was spread out, with 28.1% under the age of 18, 9.0% from 18 to 24, 26.5% from 25 to 44, 24.0% from 45 to 64, and 11.3% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 33.2 years. For every 100 females, there were 95.8 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 92.6 males.

The median income for a household in the city was $41,220, and the median income for a family was $51,840. Males had a median income of $48,672 versus $33,051 for females. The per capita income for the city was $19,299. About 10.0% of families and 17.1% of the population were below the poverty line, including 19.5% of those under age 18 and 18.1% of those age 65 or over.
