==History==

The [[population density]] was {{convert|252.6|PD/sqmi|PD/km2|1}}. There were 73 housing units at an average density of {{convert|128.1|/sqmi|/km2|1}}. The racial makeup of the city was 98.6% [[White (U.S. Census)|White]] and 1.4% from two or more races. [[Hispanic (U.S. Census)|Hispanic]] or [[Latino (U.S. Census)|Latino]] of any race were 1.4% of the population.

There were 63 households, of which 31.7% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 38.1% were [[Marriage|married couples]] living together, 15.9% had a female householder with no husband present, 6.3% had a male householder with no wife present, and 39.7% were non-families. 34.9% of all households were made up of individuals, and 12.7% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.29 and the average family size was 2.89.

The racial makeup of the city was 99.32% [[White (U.S. Census)|White]], and 0.68% from two or more races.

There were 69 households, out of which 26.1% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 46.4% were [[Marriage|married couples]] living together, 7.2% had a female householder with no husband present, and 43.5% were non-families. 36.2% of all households were made up of individuals, and 8.7% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.12 and the average family size was 2.77.

In the city, the population was spread out, with 21.2% under the age of 18, 14.4% from 18 to 24, 24.0% from 25 to 44, 26.0% from 45 to 64, and 14.4% who were 65 years of age or older.
