The [[population density]] was {{convert|376.6|PD/sqmi|PD/km2|1}}. There were 182 housing units at an average density of {{convert|193.6|/sqmi|/km2|1}}. The racial makeup of the city was 93.5% [[White (U.S. Census)|White]], 4.2% [[African American (U.S. Census)|African American]], 0.3% from [[Race (U.S. Census)|other races]], and 2.0% from two or more races. [[Hispanic (U.S. Census)|Hispanic]] or [[Latino (U.S. Census)|Latino]] of any race were 0.8% of the population.

There were 140 households, of which 40.7% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 53.6% were [[Marriage|married couples]] living together, 6.4% had a female householder with no husband present, 9.3% had a male householder with no wife present, and 30.7% were non-families. The racial makeup of the city was 90.80% [[White (U.S. Census)|White]], 6.90% [[African American (U.S. Census)|African American]], 0.57% [[Native American (U.S. Census)|Native American]], and 1.72% from two or more races. [[Hispanic (U.S. Census)|Hispanic]] or [[Latino (U.S. Census)|Latino]] of any race were 0.29% of the population.

There were 152 households, out of which 28.3% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 43.4% were [[Marriage|married couples]] living together, 9.9% had a female householder with no husband present, and 38.8% were non-families.
