[[U.S. Route 30#Idaho|U.S. Route 30]] passes through Buhl, along the scenic Thousand Springs Scenic Byway from Twin Falls to [[Bliss, Idaho|Bliss]]. Buhl was founded on April 17, 1906. It is named for [[Frank H. The [[Race and ethnicity in the United States Census#2010 census|racial makup]] of the city was 81.9% White, 0.2% African American, 0.7% Native American, 0.2% Asian, 0.1% Pacific Islander, 13.8% from other races, and 3.1% from two or more races.
