The racial makeup of the city was 50.8% [[White (U.S. Census)|White]], 0.3% [[African American (U.S. Census)|African American]], 2.2% [[Native American (U.S. Census)|Native American]], 0.2% [[Asian (U.S. Census)|Asian]], 43.0% from [[Race (U.S. Census)|other races]], and 3.5% from two or more races. [[Hispanic (U.S. Census)|Hispanic]] or [[Latino (U.S. Census)|Latino]] of any race were 73.0% of the population.

The racial makeup of the city was 54.91% [[White (U.S. Census)|White]], 0.37% [[African American (U.S. Census)|African American]], 2.28% [[Native American (U.S. Census)|Native American]], 0.27% [[Asian (U.S. Census)|Asian]], 38.78% from [[Race (United States Census)|other races]], and 3.38% from two or more races. [[Hispanic (U.S. Census)|Hispanic]] or [[Latino (U.S. Census)|Latino]] of any race were 59.5% of the population.
